Focused on positive transformation, Article22 helps create beautiful, handcrafted jewelry in Laos from the remnants of 80 million unexploded bombs and other war shrapnel left there by the US from 1963-1974.  Since 2009, Article22 has worked with the artisans in Xieng Khouang to melt bombs and war shrapnel into jewelry, helping them to earn 5 times the local wage as well as assisting the Mines Advisory Group to clear unexploded ordnances.
