Extrusion Line Marking System for Small Tubing

Permanently mark small diameter plastic tubing as it exits the extrusion machine at high speeds. 

These systems were designed for continual operation in a high-speed extrusion line environment. As the pioneers of on-the-fly laser marking technology, CMS Laser’s true closed-loop feedback systems can mark tubing as it exits the extrusion machine. The system adjusts for variations in line speed and can incorporate vison systems to validate part placement and process quality. 

Systems can be configured for marking parts on-the-fly, such as plastic tubing, heat shrink tubing, aluminum extrusion, and more. The laser source is chosen by CMS Laser’s applications lab through a free in-house sample testing study to determine the best laser and optics for the given material. CMS Laser’s engineers will work with you to develop the process and decide on any modifications if needed.
